i feel like most basic behavioural experiments in animals would completely fall apart if you tried to apply them to my fucking d&d players
a rat gets shocked when it tries to get some cheese and stops trying. one of my players gets shocked trying to do something and they not only try again, everybody else in the party tries as well. multiple times.
