the Mayor of Nagoya has an event every year to welcome the participants of the World Cosplay Summit, which is kind of a cosplay world cup with its finals held in Nagoya. The Mayor cosplays every year- fromer cosplays include Marvel’s Thor and Monkey D Luffy.
